Executives and engineers charged with implementing robotic and machine learning technologies in their companies must be able to identify and explain legal compliance issues to their boards and company leadership. There are many potential landmines in the complex and evolving terrain of employment and labor law. They must also also communicate to employees how this disruptive technology will benefit them. As the robot revolution transforms the workplace, companies will be required to adapt their compliance systems and prepare for the legislative and regulatory obstacles they will face in the U.S. and abroad.
