RoboBusiness, the event that pioneered and championed the robotics industry, has announced the full agenda for its 13th conference and expo, which will take place on September 27-28, 2017, in Santa Clara, California. This year's program has a strong focus on helping attendees apply automation to their business needs. In addition, new attractions and networking opportunities make this Silicon Valley event a must-see for anyone developing or using robotics, artificial intelligence, or unmanned systems.

RoboBusiness 2017 has been carefully designed to meet the needs of the entire robotics ecosystem and in his Market Forecast, ABI Research's Dan Kara will provide an overview of the state of global automation. Both robotics industry professionals as well as end users seeking to adopt or scale up robotics within their organizations will find programming and special events tailored to address their unique challenges.

The RoboBusiness Expo includes Expo Theater and Startup U. stages featuring Q&As and live demonstrations throughout each day. Attendees can expect to see demos of Agility Robotics’ “Cassie” and Stanford University’s “Jackrabbot” as well as presentations by NASA, Qualcomm, the California Governor's Office, and many others.

VC Office Hours, which matches startups with investors through prescheduled appointments, will also take place on the Expo floor. In addition, exhibitors will show off new products, and attendees will be able to meet emerging companies in the Startup Zone.

The first day of RoboBusiness will close with the popular Pitchfire startup competition. This event will feature six standout robotics startups that will each have five minutes to pitch to a panel of investors and technology experts, as well as a packed room of attendees.

And due to the success of its inaugural year, the Chief Robotics Officer (CRO) Network Summit will precede RoboBusiness on Sept. 26. This exclusive half-day gathering is intended help executives share ideas around robotics adoption and enable current and aspiring CROs to network. The summit will prepare professionals for robotics technology management and present a vision of how the CRO role is growing.
