Announcing Stanford Professor Silvio Savarese as RoboBusiness Speaker

RoboBusiness is pleased to announce that Silvio Savarese, Associate Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University and director of the SAIL-Toyota Center for AI Research at Stanford. The Computational Vision and Geometry Lab (CVGL) at Stanford, directed by Prof. Savarese researches the "theoretical foundations and practical applications of computational vision."

At RoboBusiness, Prof. Savarese will be participating in two sessions, speaking on topics related to his expertise in artificial intelligence and computational vision. He will be taking part in the keynote AI's Impact on Industry 4.0, which will be focused on machine learning, AI, and their impact on business strategy and long-term growth. Prof. Savarese will also be taking part in the session Degrees of Intelligence: Perceptual and Cognitive Computing, which will discuss applications for AI and robotics including visual recognition for pick-and-place operations, and better route planning in dynamic environments.
